Developing Estonian startup ecosystem and startup incubation programs: Part 1 - Developing the deep-tech startup ecosystem.
Abstract
The aim of the development program is to support and accelerate the implementation of various scientific ideas in society and to assist researchers and entrepreneurial scientists in bringing their products or services to market, as well as in enhancing their spin-off company’s investor readiness. This is achieved by involving experts and motivated students in the creation of a sustainable team. Within the framework of the development program, a new methodology Deep Dive, originated from Finland, will be piloted at the University of Tartu, involving research projects from all universities in Estonia and students from higher education institutions in Southern Estonia.
