Evaluation of the typology of the shallow bays (Haapsalu Bay, Matsalu Bay) and correction of assessment methodologies

In the project, the typology of the Haapsalu and Matsalu water bodies will be analyzed, and consideration will be given to converting the water bodies into specialized types or transitional water bodies. New assessment criteria will be developed or existing ones will be adjusted in the project to take into account the natural characteristics of the region. Using the enhanced methodology, an assessment of the ecological status of the water bodies will be provided.
