Digital Transformation in Education: Co-creating Institutionally Driven Innovations in the Republic of Uganda's TVET System
Abstract
The project aims to support the digital transformation agenda of TVET systems in Uganda. The project is expected to result in: 1. produce a framework for mapping national TVET, and ICT policies, learning theories, teaching methods and Institutional syllabuses 2. document the digital maturity shortcomings and solutions of/for the TVET institutions and develop an institutional digital agenda/strategy for ICT in TVET 3. produce a report on digital literacy and using digital technologies in pedagogy 4. enhance the digital competencies of beneficiaries to become institutional innovation leads and change agents. To achieve the outlined expectations, the project leads will build a mutually working consortium to assess the digital cultures of the TVET institutions and use the outcomes to develop further that will address the digital competence and pedagogical innovation needs of the TVET institutions in Uganda.
