Space - Time - Matter
Abstract
Spacetime matters. A number of unresolved foundational problems in physics hinge on the theory of spacetime and gravity. Such problems include the undisclosed beginnings and the dark sector of the Universe, as well as the incompatibility of gravity with quantum mechanics and with the Standard Model of particle physics. We aim to tackle these problems with a novel approach built on the metageometric description of Nature. This approach has lead to a completion of Einstein's classical theories of relativity, which we are now in a unique in position to extend into a consistent quantum theory. Metageometry suggests a rationale behind the structure of the Standard Model interactions and their unification with gravity. The third main part of the project is the investigation cosmology, wherein the dark matter and the dark energy might be explained as properties of the emergent spacetime in metageometry. A main aim of the project is to find new observable signatures of these novel theories.
