Abstract
The purpose of this project is to extend the EUKARYOME rRNA gene database as follows: 1. adding phylogenetically informative genes (e.g. COI and other mitochondrial genes, RPB1, RPB2); 2. provide ecological metadata to existing entries; and 3. integrate database functionalities such as BLASTn search, phylogenetic clustering, tree building algorithms.
