Syntax resources for Estonian
Abstract
The goal of the project is to develop the syntactic and semantic resources for the Estonian language and with this, the automatic syntactic and semantic analysis of Estonian. The need for test and training data does not disappear even in the era of large language models. Main language resource under development are the Universal Dependencies dependency treebanks for Estonian. Language resources are created and developed in accordance with Universal Dependencies, UNIDIVE etc international standards. All language resources created during the project are freely available under CC-BY license, so that interested parties can create models with a suitable configuration for themselves.
