Strengthening the CIRIC Research Group (CIRIC-GROWTH)
Abstract
The goal of CIRIC-GROWTH is to establish CIRIC as a sustainable research group recognized at both national and international levels, focusing on studies related to children's rights and well-being. The project aims to expand the scope and visibility of CIRIC and Tallinn University's research activities, develop networks within the university and internationally, and support studies in the field of children's rights and well-being. This contributes to the continuous development of the child protection system and enhances the competence of child protection workers to implement systematic, purposeful, and inclusive practices. CIRIC-GROWTH supports Tallinn University's focus areas—healthy and sustainable lifestyles, society, and open governance—by increasing research and development capacity, thereby strengthening teaching, knowledge transfer, and societal engagement in the field of children's rights and well-being, in alignment with Tallinn University's academic career model.
