Scientific Council on Prevention
Abstract
The Scientific Council on Prevention has three goals: assess the interventions’ level of evidence, provide counselling for interventions to develop their evidence and support evidence-based decision making. The Scientific Council on Prevention assesses the interventions’ level of evidence in social-, public health and educational field, keeps the assessment model up to date, compiles necessary materials, ensures transparency and reliability of the assessment, selects reviewers for assessment, makes decisions based on reviewers’ suggestions and provides overview of the prevention needs and current situation in Estonia for the Prevention Council.
