Baltic NeighbourhoodCooperation in Sustainable Workwear Initiatives: Driving Recycled Fiber Excellence in Workwear Textiles
Abstract
The SusWearTex project focuses on reducing workwear waste and promoting the use of recycled fibres in the production of new workwear. Currently, around 99% of used workwear ends up in landfills, causing extensive environmental pollution. The project aims to create a data-driven network and collaboration platform that facilitates the use of recycled fibres in materials for workwear production, providing more sustainable solutions. TTK carries out 3D modeling of materials made from recycled fibers.
