A comprehensive study of settlement development scenarios for the national spatial plan for the Ministry of Regional Affairs and Agriculture
Abstract
The aim of the project is to conduct a comprehensive study on settlement development scenarios for the national spatial plan "Estonia 2050." This study will analyze functional areas, develop an urban settlement typology, and carry out an impact analysis of settlement development scenarios. The comprehensive study will help clarify how to create the spatial conditions necessary for sustainable development and a high-quality living environment throughout Estonia, as well as to establish a shared vision for spatial decision-making on the desired and achievable settlement patterns in various regions of Estonia.
