Supporting the modernization and implementation of competence-based teacher education curricula and processes in Kenya
Abstract
The project supports the modernization of Kenya's education sector and efforts to improve the quality of education and ensure its compliance with the demands of the 21st century. More specifically, the project aims to support education reform in Kenya through the modernization of teacher education. The project supports the transition to competency-based teacher education, relying on evidence-based knowledge, introducing innovative teaching methodologies, including digital pedagogy, to ensure future teachers the necessary competencies to cope with the constant challenges of the educational environment.
