Possibilities for creating a water degrading, biofriendly golf ball
Abstract
The aim of the project is to map possible solutions that would be suitable for single-use, water-degrading and environmentally friendly golf balls. The project begins with the preparation of a review of the scientific literature which would lead to the establishing of possible materials, technical solutions and manufacturing technologies that would allow the production of the golf balls set for the purpose. In the experimental part of the project a test piece is prepared on the basis of one selected set of materials and additives, the mechanical and degradation properties of which are studied experimentally. The project forms the first part of a major planned development aimed at creating materials and technology for the manufacture of such environmentally friendly golf balls
