Digital Energy Advisory Process
Abstract
Homeowners, particularly those with older buildings, often lack knowledge of suitable energy efficiency actions and energy advisory services are fragmented. The DEAP (Digital Energy Advisory Process) project addresses these challenges in energy advisory services especially considering detached houses across the Central Baltic region. Development of energy advising is also addressed in new EPBD and EED directives. DEAP introduces a digital advisory model that helps homeowners share building data with advisors through a checklist. By simplifying data collection through the checklist, DEAP enables advisors to deliver faster, more accurate guidance. The checklist covers behavioral aspects and personal preferences as well as building specific energy flow information thus getting the homeowner more involved in the energy efficiency improving process.
