BUILDING RESILIENT INDIVIDUALS THROUGH EFFECTIVE GRADUAL EDUCATIONAL TRANSITIONS
Abstract
The BRIDGE project aims to enhance educational outcomes and transitions in Europe by providing evidence-based policy recommendations. Our goal is to improve participation and completion rates in secondary and tertiary education, support effective educational choices, mitigate the long-term impacts of COVID-19 on education and labor market transitions, and promote international student mobility. By leveraging multidisciplinary research and collaboration, BRIDGE seeks to foster inclusive, equitable, and resilient educational systems across Europe. The main outcomes of the project are: Developing effective strategies to identify and analyse factors influencing educational participation and completion. Creating policies and practices for better-informed and effective educational decisions and formulating recommendations to reduce the long-term effects of COVID-19 on education and employment transitions. Providing evidence-based strategies to enhance student and graduate mobility across Europe. Influencing national EU educational policy with evidence-based recommendations. Strengthening quality, inclusiveness and (cost-)efficiency of education systems. Advancing various academic disciplines and research domains with state-of-the-art research approaches.
