Development of experimental finance tools and IT environment
Abstract
This project will make it possible to set up IT tools to carry out experiments (e.g. an online environment with financial planning tools for people, calculators, a simulation tool for investing, etc.). It also aims to create a simulated environment to study the influences on investment decisions and to see how people react to different situations when investing. The project also aims at enhancing the capacity of the research team and its associated researchers to carry out research activities that require the availability of supporting IT support and the development of specially designed software or user interfaces for conducting scientific experiments. As a result of the project, the researchers participating in the knowledge activities will increase their knowledge and capacity to carry out research activities in their respective fields, and will develop the software, user interfaces and financial technology tools needed to carry out their experiments for public use.
