Abstract
As a result of the project, a DNA database of marine zooplankton species will be created, which can be used in the future for the further development and optimization of eDNA methodologies to suit Estonian conditions. DNA library with DNA sequences will be created for 30 taxonomically determined species of marine zooplankton. Further on, using environmental DNA (eDNA) analysis, the DNA sequence can be matched with a specific zooplankton species.
