International Social Work Day Week at Tallinn University: The Role and Impact of Social Work in Society Today and in the Future
Abstract
The International Social Work Day, celebrated annually in March, serves as an ideal platform to highlight the significance of social work and, more broadly, social protection both in Estonia and internationally. The aim of this project is to use the celebration of International Social Work Day at Tallinn University to increase the visibility and impact of the social work profession in Estonian society, emphasize its importance through a coherent narrative that connects the past, present, and future, and promote cross-sectoral collaboration as well as dialogue between research and practice.
