Cognitive warfare with superior adversary
Abstract
The aim of the project is to analyse the effects of cognitive warfare and its methods in the opposition with a superior adversary. Cognitive warfare exploits the vulnerabilities associated with the complexity of human psychology and human-technology interactions, directly affecting the situational awareness, decision-making, trust, and will to fight of units. Cognitive warfare is becoming increasingly widespread and easily conducted in the context of growing technological saturation. The project will carry out experiments to investigate the effects of cognitive overload and cognitive deception.
