The Economic Analysis of Water Use: the 4th Period
Abstract
The project "Economic Analysis of Water Use" is a mandatory economic review established by the European Union, which analyzes Estonia's water management and its compliance with the European Union Water Framework Directive. The results of the project enable Estonia to implement the principles of the European Union's water policy, such as covering water service costs by the water consumer, applying the "polluter pays" principle, and purposeful pricing. The results contribute to the establishment of a fair water service price for the consumer.
