Biological plant protection preparation
Abstract
As a result of the project, a biological plant growth stimulator will be developed based on by-products and residual products of the production of AS Salutaguse Yeast Factory, using fungal and bacterial strains isolated at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology of the University of Tartu. The compost improved with the growth stimulator is pathogen-free and can replace peat in the cultivation of seedlings, reducing the CO2 emissions associated with peat production. The effect of the growth stimulator will be tested in laboratory and potted experiments.
